Healthy Trees, Healthy Lives Advanced Training Class
Hosted by Faulkner County Master Gardeners
Dates: March 26 & 27, 2019 (Tues. Wed)
Location: First United Methodist Church, Conway, Arkansas, 1610 Prince St, Conway, AR 72034
Overview: Research shows that having trees in communities has many benefits. From improving the health of residents and reducing flooding of city streets to encouraging economic development and reducing crime, communities are healthier when they have an abundance of well-cared for trees. This training will introduce Master Gardeners to concepts of community forestry. Master Gardeners will gain understanding of the value of trees in communities and be empowered to improve their own communities by providing tree care guidance and assistance.
Registration will be available in January.
