The Clysta Willett Nature Trail is a unique and important asset to the City of Mountain Home. It is an example of the determination and willingness of a private citizen to “gift” property for the public enjoyment and use. As a cadre of volunteers, Master Gardeners, are able to influence the choices of enhancing and protecting that garden for others through their leadership, knowledge and labor. Come be a part of assuring that this legacy continues.
Many have worked at Clysta Willett Nature Trail in the spring and have never seen the gardens in their full glory. If you tour the site in mid to late summer, you will be in awe of the spectacular and colorful display! If you have not used native plants before, you will be pleasantly surprised that such plants can be so dramatic. We encourage you to visit Clysta Willett Nature Trail when it is in bloom. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the weather and the garden in the changing seasons. Official new name: Clysta Willett Park and a new brochure.
