The Master Gardeners of the Ozarks presents “Hills & Hollers Garden Tour”, Saturday June 24, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tour the hills and hollers of Stone County and see how gardeners have tackled the challenges of making things grow on Ozark Hills and in our rocky soil.
This is a self-driving tour, beginning at Pregnancy Life Line (PLL) in Branson West 19621 State Highway 413. Check in here after 8:00 a.m. to get your map, program and grab a cup of coffee and a roll to start your day. You can then travel to each of the six gardens, at your own pace, ending in Kimberling City. Stop along the way for lunch.
Highlights of the tour: Multi-level and terraced gardens; Food forest with flowers, herbs, and vegetables mixed with fruit trees; Holistic gardening techniques; Unique container gardening systems; Beautiful rose gardens, shade gardens and butterfly gardens; Children’s garden and community garden; Fun garden décor; and Free garden-related goodies.
Advanced tickets are $15 and you may register online at www.mgozarks.com , or by mailing a check to Stone County Extension Center, PO Box 345, Galena MO 65656.
Registration deadline is June 17.
After June 17, registration fee will be $20. Day of the event registration is $20.00.
This event will be held Rain or Shine and NO Refunds.
