We accomplished so much. And left the gardens looking much much better. More herbs in the medicine wheel, fewer weeds in the beds, and lots of grooming touches. Peonies, amsonia, Siberian iris, and fringe tree are looking great! Anne Carriere, John Straight, Joanne Ragsdale, Jane Druff, and Joan burr were busy bees. We also battled tangled hoses on the hose reel and relegated the worst hose to be stashed under the Jones cabin porch. And we remembered to cut back the tansy plants; hopefully this will keep them from flopping this year.
Some of us plan to go on Monday May 1 as well -- sort of an extra informal very-optional PED to mostly focus on the shotgun Cabin. The regular May PEDs are scheduled for May 8 and 22, but given the May 20 hospice house tour of the cabins, we will probably move up the may 22 one.
